Elizabeth Huse

Co-Founder & Exec. Director

Elizabeth Huse may have grown up in Oklahoma, but after moving to Texas in 2001, she proudly considers herself a true Texan! A city girl with small-town roots, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Environmental Sciences – Design, Housing, and Merchandising from Oklahoma State University, so her loyalty to orange runs deep — long before calling Celina home.

Elizabeth and her husband, John, moved to Celina in 2018 with their four active children, affectionately known as her “Fabulous Four” — Madison, Reagan, Wyatt, and Hannah. From the moment they arrived, they knew Celina was where they belonged.

With 14 years of experience in the corporate world, both in the U.S. and internationally, Elizabeth eventually felt called to shift her focus to full-time motherhood. She and John became foster parents to 16 children before closing their home to focus on their family — a season that deeply shaped her heart for children and families.

Elizabeth is passionate about making sure no child feels left out. Her work is centered on ensuring students have access to the essentials they need — from clothing and hygiene items to key school experiences — so they can thrive both in and out of the classroom. She believes every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and included.

In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys traveling, going on mission trips, playing tennis, and spending time with her family, friends, and farm animals. You can always find her cheering on the Bobcats — proudly wearing orange!
