Elizabeth Huse, a former Oklahoman, has now been in Texas for 23 years and considers herself a true Texan! As a city girl who grew up in small town and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Environmental Sciences Design, Housing and Merchandising from Oklahoma State University, she already bled orange before coming to Celina. There are many things she loves about this state, but she knew she had found her home in Celina, Texas when she located here in 2018 with her husband John and their four active kids that she refers to as her fabulous 4: Madison, Reagan, Wyatt and Hannah.
Elizabeth has worked in the corporate world both in the US and internationally for 14 years and left that behind to become a stay-at-home foster and adoptive mother. Elizabeth and John were foster parents to 16 children before closing their home to focus on their 4 children. Elizabeth is very passionate about helping children overcome the many obstacles that they face so they can thrive and not just survive. It is a privilege to walk alongside these parents and to help them navigate the adoptive and foster care system. Elizabeth knows that the more support we can give these families, the more they can focus on their children in need and take care of themselves.
Elizabeth enjoys traveling, mission trips, tennis, spending time with family and friends and her farm animals. You can always find her cheering on the Bobcats wearing her ORANGE!
